Hello again! Tuesday has rolled around once again, so it’s time for another Tag Tuesday. This week I’m going with a Disney princess theme which I got from Katys Daily Life and Just Being Brooklyn. One of my favourite things about doing these tag posts every week, is looking for questions to answer, and inadvertently stumbling across gorgeous blogs that I instantly fall in love with. Both Katy and Brooklyn have gorgeous little blogs, so I’d definitely recommend checking them out. I’m tagging any Disney lovers to answer these questions, and without further ado here I go…
1. Which Princess do you like the least?
Probably Snow White. I know she’s classic because she’s the original Disney princess but I find her very whiny and annoying. And she just waits around to get rescued by the prince, I much prefer the princesses that do things for themselves.
2. Which Princess do you adore the most?
Ariel. She has the most amazing hair and the most amazing voice. And she’s the perfect mix of still being your classic princess, but with independence and ambition.
3. Which Princess do you relate to the most?
Belle because I think she’s most like me – bookish, sassy and independent.
4. Which side kick do you wish you had?
Rajah from Aladdin. He’s like the Disney equivalent of having a dog. He’s super protective, and he’d be a great pet and a friend.
5. Which best friend(s) would you like to hang out with?
Jaq and Gus from Cinderella. Their banter is really funny, and they’re so kind – I feel like they’d do anything for you so they’d be great friends to have.
6. Which Prince would love you?
Definitely Eric from The Little Mermaid. He’s cute. If you can call an animated character cute…
7. Which parents would raise you?
Fa Zhou & Fa Li. Mulan’s parents are the absolute cutest, I love her dad in particular. And, it would mean I’d also get to be raised by Grandma Fa which I think would be hilarious – she’s such a crazy character.
8. Which castle do you want to live in?
The Sleeping Beauty/Cinderella castle that they use in the Disney logos. It’s classic and it’s the most beautiful.
9. Which dress do you wish you could own?
Cinderella’s dress that she wears to the ball. It’s just so iconic. I think I’ll just skip on the glass slippers though, I can’t imagine they’re very comfortable to dance in.
10. Which voice do you wish you had?
Elsa’s voice. I loved Idina Menzel before her Frozen days, I think she has an absolutely incredible voice. And as annoying as Let It Go has become, there’s no denying that she absolutely kills it.
11. Which two Princesses would be best friends?
Merida and Mulan because they’re both so independent and they can bond over that and go travelling together or something. And they’re both good at fighting, so they could defend themselves if they ever needed to.
12. Which two Princesses do you think would hate each other?
Aurora and Pocahontas. Aurora is so privileged and your classic English-rose and Pocahontas is the complete opposite. She appreciates the smaller things in life and makes do with what she has. I just think the two of them are too different.
13. Which two sidekicks would make a good duo?
Maximus from Tangled and Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast. They’re both quite serious and want to play by the rules, but they also have a softer side. They’re just very similar so I imagine they’d get on well.
14. Which two Princes would be best buds?
Flynn and Aladdin. Like many of the others, these two are very similar. They’re very confident and cheeky, and I can totally imagine them as lads who go down the pub together or play football in the park.
15. Which scene makes you cry?
When King Triton destroys all of Ariel’s things in The Little Mermaid. The scene itself is really upsetting when you see how upset Ariel is but then it’s equally sad when you see Triton realise how much he’s upset his daughter 😦
16. Which scene makes you cheer?
When Gaston falls off the side of the castle and is no more. Although he’s actually one of my favourite Disney villains, he is a nasty guy and he was getting in the way of true love. He just had to go.
17. Which movie is your favourite soundtrack?
Definitely The Little Mermaid. From Kiss the Girl to Under the Sea to Poor Unfortunate Souls, it is full of great songs. But Part of Your World is by far the best Disney princess song, and this song alone makes it my favourite soundtrack.
18. Which scene makes you cringe?
Just every scene and everything about Charlotte La Bouff in The Princess and the Frog. She’s so over-the-top and annoying.
19. Which story do you wish was your life?
After a long consideration, I’m choosing Jasmine from Aladdin. All the princesses have to go through some terrible situations before they get their happy ending and I feel like Jasmine has the most easy ride. It’s probably because she’s not the titular character, and the bad stuff tends to happen to Aladdin rather than her.
20. Which movie do you love the most?
It’s got to be The Little Mermaid. It has the best soundtrack, the best prince and the best princess, so there’s not much competition really. Although I’d say that Beauty and the Beast isn’t too far behind in second place.
